Mobile Lube
Mobile Service Sync started as a CRM for mobile oil change businesses, so the Lube vertical is the most mature path through the app. Everything we ship for oil changes (quart math, viscosity capture, oil-due reminders) is on by default for Lube accounts.
Starter jobs
When you finish onboarding as a Lube operator we offer to seed a handful of services:
- Synthetic Blend Oil Change
- Full Synthetic Oil Change
- High Mileage Oil Change
- Diesel Oil Change
- Engine Air Filter Replacement (add-on)
- Cabin Air Filter Replacement (add-on)
- Wiper Blade Replacement (add-on)
Prices and durations are sensible defaults you should review under Settings -> Service Types. You can rename, reprice, or delete any of these without affecting the rest of the app.
How pricing works on the booking widget
For each oil-change package you set:
- A flat-rate price for the first N quarts.
- The included quarts (typical 5).
- An optional per-quart overage price.
When a customer books and we have an oil capacity for their vehicle (looked up by plate or VIN), the widget shows the flat rate plus any overage line. If the vehicle holds 7 quarts and the package includes 5, the customer sees a line for 2 additional quarts at your overage price.
If the per-quart overage on a package is blank, we fall back to the org-level default in Settings -> Booking (or to the inventory item's retail price if you've configured matching SKUs).
Add-ons priced from PartsTech
For air filters, cabin air filters, and wiper blades, you can either keep a flat-rate price or let PartsTech price the part for the customer's vehicle. To use PartsTech pricing:
- Open the add-on under Settings -> Service Types.
- Pick a PartsTech category (air filter, cabin air filter, wipers).
- Set a labor amount and a markup percentage.
The booking widget then quotes the customer the average PartsTech retail times (1 + markup) plus labor.
Integrations we recommend
- QuickBooks Online for invoicing and accounting sync. See the QBO guide.
- Rainforest Pay for card processing tied to your sub-merchant account.
- Reviews to nudge customers for a Google or Facebook review after a paid visit.
